Property Management

ESU Property Management will oversee your property by:

  • Doing regular inspections on maintenance and safety requirements,
  • Carrying out small maintenance work,
  • Obtaining necessary permits for work on property,
  • Securing quotes from contractors to carry out larger maintenance and repair work,
  • Overseeing work of contractors, reporting progress to you,
  • Carrying out security checks on property,
  • Liaising with tenants on issues of concern
  • Obtaining your approval for carrying out work and incurring expense.

Prices will be agreed to, based upon the extent of work you require.

Robin Scott and Ida Scott will provide your service in the Lunenburg, NS Area; and Peter Scott will provide your service in the Vernon, BC area.

In his 26 years as Recreation Director and Special Events Coordinator with the Town of Lunenburg, Robin has been responsible for property management, inspection and maintenance for the Lunenburg Arena, the Fishermen’s Memorial Community Centre, The Soccer Field, Town Playgrounds and Back Harbour and Front Harbour trails. Through ESU, Robin and Ida  were the Lunenburg, NS, Harbour Property Manager for two years from 2017 to 2019 for Develop Nova Scotia (previously Waterfront Development Corporation) which owns a number of buildings and wharves, some of which are leased and some operated by Develop Nova Scotia.

Peter Scott has a keen interest in ensuring safety and attention to maintenance issues. He has worked as a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager for ten years at Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort. Peter was responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of the flagship mountain top facility, The Roundhouse Lodge, in order to provide exceptional service to guests. The Roundhouse Lodge provides food and beverage service for 8,000 people a day and serves as many as 14,000 guests in a single eight-hour day.  Regular inspections of all areas of the facility and dealing with the issues was part of a routine day for Peter.
