Project Management and Business Training

ESU has worked with more than 200 businesses and organizations in developing and delivering business training such as marketing, human resource development, attracting and retaining volunteers, as well as hosting large events and providing motivational speakers.

ESU has also facilitated strategic planning, team building and numerous sessions with organizations while working on projects and has worked with staff and managers to create a foundation for improving work culture and retention of staff.

Peter Scott has delivered training for ESU in person and online; and has developed orientation handbooks for the on boarding of new staff.  Through his work as Assistant Manager of Whistler Blackcomb Food and Beverage Department, Peter was responsible for 100 staff each season. He was selected to represent the company at multiple international hiring fairs in Canada and Australia, interviewing several hundred applicants.  Peter carried out training for staff to ensure that guests had a world class experiences on Whistler Mountain. He became known for helping create efficiencies in the workplace, creating and adhering to budgets and profit margin goals. Peter has extensive practical experience in regards to staff engagement and guest satisfaction to bring to businesses and organizations.

ESU has delivered 600+ Information Sessions to unemployed clients of Service Canada on the topics of:  General Information for the unemployed, Job Search Techniques and Interview Skills as well as cover letters and becoming the CEO of your own job search, including developing and delivering a workshop “Network to Networth”.

Robin Scott, having been Recreation Director and Coordinator of Special Events for the Town of Lunenburg for 26 years, spent much time organization and delivering projects from recreational programs to special events.  Previous experience through work, associations and organizations such as Recreation Facilities of Nova Scotia, 55+ Games, Canada Games and Lunenburg Queens Recreation Directors and Coordinators has given Robin a sixth sense for Project Management and growth potential.

2003 World Theatre and Congress
ESU assumed the role of Project Manager and Economic Development Officer for the project.

2002 Volvo World Youth Sailing Competition
ESU assumed the role of Executive Director and Economic Development Officer, working on this project for two years.
